Working for a leading consulting firm you will support their clients' software and hardware issues by providing phone support and on-site support. You will be required to travel to client sites so you must have your own car. The position begins as an hourly contract with kilometer reimbursement and can convert to a full-time position after 6 months. Great company, lots of room for advancement. Full-time roles include benefits and training reimbursements and certifications and on-going training are enthusiastically encouraged!
Skill Set required:
* Client Facing Experience and ideally Client Executive Facing Experience
* Good Verbal Communication Skills
* Good Written Communication Skills
* Technical Installation/Troubleshooting - Hardware Installation & Break/Fix
* IBM, HP & Fujitsu Desktop/Laptop/Tablet
* IBM, Compaq & Dell Servers
* HP Printers
Technical Troubleshooting
- Basic Application Issues/Desktop & Laptop Configuration Settings Issues
- Complex Interactions between applications, O/S, Internet, Intranet, Firewalls
- Centralized Printing Environment
- WAN/LAN network & wireless including Novell, CCNA a Plus

Technical Writing Experience
Good Organizational Skills
LAN Closet Wiring
Technical Management/Troubleshooting - Novell Environment
Server Related Netbackup Errors
Data Management - Volume Health/maintenance/tracking/capacity
Novell Rights/Login Scripts

Project/Rollout Deployment Experience a plus
Windows 2003 Server experience a plus
VoIP experience a plus
Tape Librarian experience a plus
Any Vendor Certifications are welcomed
Activities include recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up. Prepares progress reports for work performed. May involve use of problem management databases and help desk system
