Sr. Product Manager
We seek a Senior Product Manager to join the team developing and translating business requirements and customer needs into a new generation of web applications.
Senior Product Manager
Responsibilities:
• Using Agile methodology, define and deliver products to meet business and service initiatives
• Gather and write product requirements, by investigation and definition of detailed business use cases and user stories
• Support product management roadmap and delivery commitments by active prioritization of product backlogs with the cross-functional teams
• Participate in Agile teams with Engineering and Program Management
• Manage special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
• 5+ years experience with the full lifecycle of online product development
• Strong business requirements writing, and experience with Agile methodology practices, is highly valued
• 5+ year degree in business or an internet-related field
• 2+ years of work experience in an internet 2.0 company, preferably in the area of social networking
Characteristics of a successful candidate:
• Proven ability to investigate, understand, anticipate and translate customer needs into prioritized Product Requirements
• Exposed to state-of-the-art online technologies
• Strong team building skills to lead development efforts, with the ability to successfully collaborate to achieve shared goals
• Strong outside-the-box thinking and imagination with the ability to weigh alternatives
• Exposure to analytics/ business intelligence approaches are highly valued
The role you could play with us:
• Define product features and functionality in an Agile environment while balancing a range of business priorities
• Work closely with Product Development, Program Management and User Experience teams to define and refine new product initiatives
• Provide ongoing analysis -- including the use of surveys and other feedback tools -- to monitor product results
