Software Release Manager
Responsibility
The SRM's primary responsibility is to ensure that the various component projects of a particular software release meet customer needs and are brought together and released on time with high quality, and the overall release reflects the best choices amount scope, costs, and time for the company. The SRM will have strong functional experience to understand the components of the release and how their technical complexity will affect the release schedule and risks.
Qualifications
• Serves as a liaison between varying business units to guarantee smooth and timely delivery of products.
• Oversees production systems/applications and takes responsibility for their implementations.
• Utilized to coordinate disparate source trees, projects, teams and components.
• 4 - 6 years development and or release experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills required.
