Software Release Engineer
Responsibilities
Responsible for the design and development of builds, scripts, installation procedures, and systems issue tracking. The Release Engineer works closely with quality engineering to ensure final version is up to organizational standards. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 2-3 years of experience software development or release. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. May also lead and direct the work of others on various projects.
Qualifications
• 2-3 years experience in software engineering, release engineering, and/or configuration management.
• Strong familiarity with software configuration management systems and/or source code version control systems. Perforce experience highly desired.
• Ability to work well with developers, test engineers, and non-engineering personnel.
• BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or other technical field is preferred.
