Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic planning and business development leadership for critical new initiatives, building the business case and presenting to senior management to gain approval for strategic initiatives proposed
• Work collaboratively across business groups to secure buy-in and drive issues to resolution that impact product, engineering, operation, marketing, business development, corporate development, finance and legal
• Manage a team of international business development managers to drive successful overseas initiatives including Merger & Acquisition opportunities
• Develop the operational plans needed to handover successful initiatives to the operational teams and scale them to become mainstream projects
Requirements:
• Proven track record of developing and driving strategic initiatives
• Excellent communication skills in English
• People management and team building skills desired
• A clear vision to identify opportunities and strong project management capabilities
• A minimum of 2 years experience in the internet industry or business development. General work experience of 7 years is preferred.
Education/Training:
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required
• MBA is a plus
Other:
• Must have professional-level Mandarin Chinese writing, speaking and listening comprehension skills.
• Work location is in Shenzhen, China
• Relocation assistance to China
