DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Providing UNIX systems administration to include performance monitoring, performance tuning, installs, upgrades, backups, recoveries of AIX, Solaris, and Linux servers in this large, complex, advanced, state of the art e-commerce environment (100+ servers); (2) Design, building, and support of AIX, Solaris, and Linux based servers; (3) Implementation of software releases to production sites; (4) Shell scripting in Korn, Perl, and bash shell; (5) Documentation.
REQUIRED:
3 years of strong, deep, current AIX systems administration to include performance monitoring, performance tuning, installs, upgrades, backups, recoveries in a production environment of 100+ servers.
Must have strong, current, and deep shell scripting with Korn, or Perl, or bash.
Must have enterprise monitoring experience.
Must have excellent communication skills (oral and written).

Pluses: Solaris, Linux, Python, Apache, WAS (WebSphere Application Server), WPS (WebSphere Portal Server), Oracle 9i/10g, SAN, Veritas Volume Manager, clustering.
