We are looking for Software Engineer to be responsible for the design and development of real-time embedded software for advanced radio communications equipment.
The Software Engineer will define and develop the software architecture required to implement features and capabilities for software defined radios.
The Software Engineer will participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (requirements analysis, high level design, detailed design, coding, unit test, integration, system level test) as well as analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of the system design within time and cost constraints.
Prepare work estimates, schedule inputs and metric data to project management.
The Software Engineer will consult with other cross-functional engineering staff (electrical, mechanical, systems) to evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, and operational performance requirements of the overall system.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor of Science in CS/CE/EE discipline along with 9+ years of directly related experience (7+ years with Master's degree)
8+ years of C/C++ programming languages.
5+ years experience with the software architecture and design of complex systems.
8+ years experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD)
5+ years experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML)
4+ years embedded software development (including compilers, debuggers, etc.)
5+ years expeirence with multi-threaded design
4+ years experience with real-time operating systems
Ability to obtain security clearance
