Our Client is an independent interactive agency that produces award-winning, innovative solutions for global brands.
They are currently seeking a Front-End Web Developer to join their growing team of professional Web developers, designers and engineers. Candidates should have a strong interest in building Web sites for high-profile clients within a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with art directors, designers, engineering and other team members to achieve client objectives
- Develop web pages and templates with a strong focus on detail, quality, and maintaining design consistency
- Perform maintenance and content publishing tasks through various CMS and web-based publishing tools
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience designing, building and maintaining Web sites
- Knowledge of JavaScript REQUIRED
- B.A./B.S. in graphic design, electronic/interactive design, multimedia, computer science or related field is recommended
- Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS with the ability to hand-code
- Working knowledge of web standards and CSS-driven layouts
- An understanding of cross-browser and platform compatibility issues
- Solid background and knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or Fireworks for producing and optimizing graphics for the Web
- Knowledge of other Web development and graphic design software, including Illustrator and Flash, is a plus
- Knowledge of AJAX, including DOM scripting and object-oriented JavaScript coding, is a plus
- Experience working collaboratively across multiple functional areas to implement Web site design initiatives
- Ability to handle a number of projects simultaneously and thrive in deadline-driven environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
