We are currently seeking a Director of Marketing to create and implement the positioning the company as the industry leader it has become. Must possess 5-7 years experience in a senior leadership marketing and market development role within the data backup/disaster recovery OR technology Industry. Similar successful experience in the broader storage industry is also desirable
Proven expertise envisioning, implementing, and measuring the success of lead generation programs, including direct mail, demand-creation advertising, seminars and tradeshows, e-publications, etc.
Extensive successful experience in channel-development marketing: reseller recruitment, programs to capture reseller mindshare, etc.
Market analysis and quantification expertise, including analysis of demographics of current customer base, prior buying criteria, etc.
Experience measuring customer satisfaction and implementing programs to improve.
Market research designed to identify high-potential vertical industry segments, key buying criteria, etc.
Prior proven success at implementing programs to attack vertical markets.
Experience developing strategies and support materials associated with target market implementation efforts: pricing strategies, sales support collateral, demand creation programs, special pricing initiatives, development of industry references, etc.
Proven experience in development of competitive analyses, and recommendations to strengthen competitive positioning.
Strategic website design expertise, including search engine optimization.
Proven success as a skilled and prolific author, both of internal communication pieces (interface with other departments, sales motivation, etc) and external communications.
Extensive experience at external communications, including public relations, industry forums, technical speechwriting, etc.
Experience creating a successful technical sales pieces.whitepapers, etc.
