The Opportunity:
The successful candidate will join our cutting-edge Transformational Legacy Modernization (TLM) methodology team. As part of the TLM team you will be contributing to the evolution of the company's mission critical products and services. Reporting directly to the VP of Product Development, you will interact with people at all levels of the organization as well as partners and customers, in order to coordinate, develop and execute courses as part of a comprehensive training plan. As we are a growing team there will be secondary emphasis on training delivery, primarily orientated towards our partners and customers. You will be the first Learning Specialist in the company, and as such you'll have an opportunity to lead the learning development team as we rapidly expand over the coming years.
Responsibilities:
• Determine learning objectives, design course materials and curriculum, design learning evaluations, validate training design
• Update, maintain and develop print and e-learning (SCORM-compliant) educational materials for worldwide audience
• Deploy learning activities through a learning management system (LMS)
• Assume responsibility for the full life cycle of course materials from conception to completion
• Develop learner-centered and performance-based instructional materials
• Facilitate various meetings and training sessions, as required
• Adapt and create graphics for use in training
Required Skills and Knowledge:
• 4 -8 years experience creating educational materials in high-tech or product-related environments
• 3 years experience applying project management and instructional design knowledge to educational development projects
• Knowledge of instructional design and curriculum development
• Experience with a learning management system (LMS)
