Flint Energy Services Ltd. is currently seeking applicants for the full-time position of JDE Team Lead, Applications to be based in our Sherwood Park office.
The successful candidate will contribute to the support, development, implementation and potential modification of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. Working closely with users across the organization, you will understand the requirements of the business to deliver effective and efficient solutions enabled by EnterpriseOne.
Reporting to the Manager, JDE Applications, your primary responsibilities will include:
Participate in the planning, analysis, design, installation, administration, and maintenance of JDE solutions
Evaluate existing system functionality or business processes and, where appropriate, oversee and assist with the gathering and documentation of business requirements for the implementation of system or reporting functionality, modifications and/or enhancements
Examine and assess the feasibility and impact of system change requests
Provide leadership, support, guidance and technical expertise to staff in order to achieve and exceed established service delivery metrics
Establish and coordinate the day to day work schedule and activities relating to end-user support as well as the planning, design, configuration, implementation, maintenance, testing, and integration of new or existing functional enhancements and solutions
Management of support issues including understanding ticket priority, reviewing ticket assignments, and managing progress towards resolution by monitoring ticket submissions to ensure prompt and thorough responses
Direct, motivate, and evaluate business system analysts in performance of duties and achievement of goals
Participate in and/or lead project activities, as required
Foster continuous learning within user community through coaching and training
Serve as subject matter expert in one or more JDE applications suites
The following skills, experience and qualifications are required:
· 6+ years experience implementing and/or supporting JD Edwards applications (EnterpriseOne 8.11 preferred), particularly in the areas of Financial Management, Enterprise Asset Management, Job Cost, Distribution and/or Manufacturing
Minimum of 5 years of proven proficiency in a mid-level or project management capacity leading and supervising teams of 5 to 15 staff
Strong leadership skills and decision-making capabilities including the ability to build supportive relationships and commitment from team members to team goals and objectives in high change environments
· Thorough understanding of construction, asset management, accounting and/or business management processes
In-depth understanding of functional area(s) enabled by JDE applications
· Working knowledge of database concepts and JD Edwards file structures
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Solid analytical skills and attention to detail
· Well developed team skills and a collaborative work style
· Strong work ethic supported by solid time management skills
Ability to manage multiple commitments and responsibilities
Must have an aptitude for understanding the business environment and translating business requirements to technical solutions
· Demonstrated consulting and coaching skills in advising appropriate solutions
Experience analyzing, designing and developing business applications with a thorough understanding of basic system design concepts (development lifecycle, change management, relational database, object oriented programming and table driven systems)
