We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Database Administrator (DBA) to join our highly successful and growing Interactive Group. Our high end flash games and animated characters have made Webkinz.com the fastest growing children's entertainment site on the internet. Responsibilities:
• Manage the database new implementations.
• Review retention, optimization and clean-up.
• Database security and access control management.
• Add input regarding architecture and configuration.
• Ability to work with tables, sequence procedures and triggers.
• Understanding of cluster and slave environments.
Qualifications:
• Computer Science Degree preferred.
• 3+ years experience in MySQL and PostgresSQL.
• Minimal Oracle and MS SQL experience.
• Exposure to Flash and PHP environment under Linux OS.
• Understanding of scripting and data polling.
• Excellent communication and documentations skills.
