Candidate must possess a minimum 5-7 years of .Net software development (including Windows Server, IIS, and SQL Server). Includes extensive ASP.Net experience, SQL Server development, web services development
Deep knowledge of C# programming language and .Net programming environment
Extensive experience with developing and deploying web-based applications in a distributed architecture
• Experience with design and development of Service Oriented Architectures. Includes experience with web services, SOAP, WCF
• Deep knowledge of object-oriented and event driven programming
• Deep understanding of Object-oriented design patterns, as well as enterprise architecture design patterns, and their application
• Experience with .Net 3.5 a plus
• Candidates must be detail-oriented and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid knowledge and experience of full SDLC. Must be able to work on all aspects of development lifecycle (requirements, design, construction, testing, etc)
• Experience with Agile project methodologies a plus
• Experience with Test-Driven Development tools such as NUnit a plus
• Knowledge of BizTalk, Workflow, and SharePoint, and TFS are a plus
Architect will be a part of a large multi-year SOA project to build custom eCommerce system that will be expanded to integrate several independent applications into an enterprise portal environment. Architect Single Sign-On solution among applications integrated into a portal. Project is strategically important to company and highly visible. Architect must be a team-player and be able to provide architectural guidance for building solution and recommend strategies to optimize applications for improved performance. Other requirements are to create technology position statements, architecture diagrams, lead design meetings and provide code reviews for senior developers. Technical Environment: .NET 3.5, K2 Workflow, BizTalk, SharePoint, Coveo Search, and TFS.
Initial building of SOA architecture is currently underway. Candidate will still be able to provide significant contribution to architecture upon employment.
