We have client with the following permanent position:
SAP SEM-BPS ERP Manager
Provides formalized, continuing work direction, and leadership to SEM team personnel to ensure timely and effective project/task execution. Responsible for employee development, employee evaluations, coaching, and ongoing performance management. Plans and directs the installation of Information Technology projects which typically involve and impact multiple business areas. We are looking for a hands-on SAP SEM (BPS) ERP Manager who is a self starter, works well on a team, and has excellent communications skills.
The position will include:
• Managing all SEM BPS development by providing day to day planning, coordination, project management;
• Working with business representatives or liaisons to define business needs and functional requirements;
• Creating project estimates for new development and potential acquisitions;
• Creating project plans and managing work for acquisitions and large projects that will includes working with the business units to gather requirements, coordinate testing and perform change management / training; configuring / testing new functionality;
• Cross training other SEM functional support staff
• Interfacing with the business Steering Committee and/or liaisons to prioritize work and provide project status updates. Critical component of role is assuring that all SEM related jobs are executed without incident.
This individual will also provide technical direction on projects to department or project participants. Plans, coordinates and completes large-scale or several medium or small, complex or long term project(s) within budgetary and scheduling guidelines. Maintains thorough knowledge of new developments and/or technology pertaining to the project(s). Monitors and recommends changes for improvement. Position usually requires five to eight years of experience and an advanced degree, or the equivalent and in-depth knowledge in area of specialty.
Requirements:
The individual must have at least 3 SEM-BPS implementations with a strong accounting and finance background and familiarity with the Planning and Forecasting process.
The candidate must also have experience in supporting and existing BPS System for at least 3 months.
A CPA and / or MBA is a plus.
Additional qualifications include:
• Developing, implementing and supporting complex layouts, development of planning areas, multi-planning areas, version planning, planning levels, packages and folders and data slices and development of planning functions in SEM version 7.0 (BPS and/or Integrated Planning)
• Building Web Templates for SEM input via Web Interface Builder
• Coding fox formulas
• Development, implementation and support of BW and SEM objects, including ODS, cubes, multiproviders, planning areas, multi-planning areas, planning levels, layouts and queries.
• Development, implementation and support BW queries and web templates on financial data (FI, CO, PCA, ECCS)
• Experience with ECCS would be beneficial
• Experience working in a multi-currency planning environment desired
• Experience with SEM-BCS is desired but not necessary.
