Design and develop complex administrative and instructional applications, with a focus on Title III Activity I projects. Lead and support development projects, work with sponsors to define business requirements, project requests, project charters and project plans, develop prototypes, specifications and designs. Create and test databases, code, compile, document and test applications. Provide expert consultation and assist in resolving a wide variety of complex technical issues. This is an exempt, professional-technical position that works closely with the Title III grant director and reports to the director of information technology services.
Qualifications include:
• Bachelors degree in computer science or related field preferred
• Three years professional IT experience planning, designing, developing and implementing enterprise-class applications; professional experience and expertise applying relevant technologies to business needs
• Strong C# experience in an ASP.NET environment; Visual Basic and Scrum development methodology experience considered a plus
• Knowledge/understanding of ADA requirements and accessibility issues of special needs users
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences
