Title: lead developer/dev manager type.

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for end to end development of the application, including:
Interfacing with the Project Manager, Development Team and QA Analysts to design, implement, test and deliver the application on a regular schedule.
Assisting in the technical design and architecture of the application.
Coding the most technically complex parts of the application as per the Project Manager's directions.
Managing or assisting in managing the development team on a day to day basis.
Requirements
Proven track record in developing complex applications in the financial industry for 7-10 year.
Proven ability to design and implement solutions using Oracle databases, Cognos reporting tools or equivalents, Java application programming environments and UNIX shell scripting tools. Only candidates with strong development abilities will be considered.
Full understanding of structured methodologies, SDLC approaches and delivering applications in an iterative manner
Proven track record in maintaining strong communications with all parties involved with a software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Proven track record in managing diverse development teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
