Our client, a growing Mobile Telecommunications applications provider is looking for a Senior Web Designer to support the technical design, implementation and testing of their corporate website. You will be working in a team environment and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing web applications. You will analyze the requirements from the product management and marketing team, provide effort estimates for the development of new features, support UI design throughout the product lifecycle and create prototypes for the proof of concept demos.
Requirements:
As a strong candidate for this full time career opportunity, you have 5+ years of experience in web design and development with a strong creative element. You understand usability, web standards and best practices as well as an innovative mind set, contributing with new ideas in the creation of web sites and features. You will have programming experience with advanced LAMP, AJAX as well as with X/HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other Web 2.0 technologies. You will also have experience with both database-driven and template-driven web design and development and working experience with FLASH animation (Photoshop and Illustrator). Ideally, you will have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve cross-browser related issues and knowledge of Apache configuration and familiarity with web-based testing and QA processes.
