Our client, located in the Burnaby, British Columbia area provides technology applications and marketing services to community service organizations. They are looking for an Architect / Development Manager to push the envelope with a mixture of forward thinking and tactical projects that span the companies' software and applications. The role is to work within a Service-Oriented Architecture and create solutions, design end-to-end applications applying the latest technologies to create innovative solutions. This role responsible for building and maintaining software products, identify and remedy problems in the existing code base for various products. The compensation package is attractive and will reflect the drive, hunger and performance of the individual.


Requirements:


A Software Developer for Community Service organizations is looking for an Architect / Development Manager. To be successful in your application, you must have experience with software product life-cycle developer tasks such as designing, estimating, coding, unit testing, and defect fixing , working with Business or Product analysts to design and implement new solutions, be able to demonstrate high quality and rapid output through the use of agile software development best practices, be accountable for a team of developers and testers to hit release and quality targets, experience with performing performance reviews and career coaching for members of your team.


Technical skill sets involve experience with ASP.NET, C#, CSS, HTML, XML, N-tier application environment, Object-oriented analysis and design, database development, ADO.NET, SQL query and stored procedure design.


A keen attitude, passion for their work and an ability to look at a problem from the top down are a big asset. As a successful candidate you are a team player with an ability to take independent charge of the company's in-house software systems. You keep yourself informed of latest technical trends and share that information with your peers and superiors.
