ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Turn ideas and concepts into usable and esthetically pleasing designs, which will please our customers and solve intriguing usability problems. This is a position, which will have an immediate and tangible impact for millions of our customers around the world.
Deliver on all aspects of user interface design from prototyping to detailed Photoshop design mocks
Work with team to develop and create basic process flow, storyboards, and sitemaps.
Create and/or contribute to the production of user interface production documentation such as personas, scenarios, use cases, and wireframes.
Use web analytics, best practices, and good judgment to suggest solutions, which optimize between customers' needs, business constraints and technical realities.
Present comps to team members, constituents, and stake holders; back up and defend design rational.
Collaborate effectively with product management, marketing, customer experience, and other team members.
Manage and execute final concept thru completion of project.
Develop and define design standards in form of style guides.
Identify tools, templates, and techniques that evolve existing approaches to design.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
Strong portfolio available for review is a must
Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university or equivalent work experience.
4 years of industry experience
Candidates must be well-versed in user-centered design methods and techniques
Candidates much have excellent track record of designing consumer websites and web-based applications.
Proficient in creating prototypes, wireframes, interface flows and specifications, storyboards, and photoshop mocks
Usability testing experience or focus group testing experience a plus
Ability to work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams
Highly skilled in Illustrator, Photoshop, Fireworks or other prototyping tools
Strong understanding of XHTML, DHTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Ajax, and cross-browser design issues and workarounds required.
