Position: Full time
Beatport is looking for a skilled systems administrator with working experience configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise Linux systems. Prospect should be able to work with in a rapidly moving IT environment, and able to work with a team. This position will report to the Director of Information Technology.
Job Requirements:
* Experience working on Linux systems (specifically RHEL4 and CentOS)
* Experience configuring and trouble shooting many services on Linux systems (LDAP, DNS, HTTP, SMTP, FTP, SVN, CVS, VMWare Server, MySQL, etc.)
* Experience working with logging and monitoring suites, such as Nagios and Cacti
* Minimum 2 years experience or equivalent training
Additional skills (preferred):
* Experience with NAS or SAN deployments
* Experience working with SAN snapshot technologies
* Experience utilizing the Linux Volume Manager (LVM)
* Experience with Windows Active Directory domains
* Experience and knowledge of TCP/IP networks and security systems
* Basic Firewall and network configuration skills
* Basic MySQL database administration and configuration skills
* Experience working in a PCI compliant environment
* Experience working in LAMP infrastructure
