Senior Software Engineer -- Java
Vegas.com, a fast growing subsidiary of the Greenspun Corporation, is hiring bright, motivated software engineers. We work in the Travel and Entertainment industries, competing with national and international companies -- often coming out ahead.
We need smart, capable developers who understand the importance of object-oriented design and have a deep understanding of Java. You need to be someone who can carry a project from estimation and requirement gathering through development, unit testing, formal QA and finally into production. We are looking for strong problem-solving skills, domain-centric design, and an understanding of the JEE stack from JSP/Servlets through to JDBC.
We use best of breed Java technologies, however we write key infrastructure internally where it benefits our competitive advantage. Our software stack includes:
AJAX
