Responsabilities / Missions
Offshore Facilities Engineering with emphasis in design, sizing and specifying normal and emergency power generation and distribution, motor control centers, UPS, DC system, utility electrical systems, cable and raceway systems, power grounding, and lighting. Power system analysis a plus. Experience in full range of Topsides electrical engineering tasks Knowledgeable of relevant industry codes and standards in the Oil and Gas Industry. Professional registration a big plus. Conceptual design of high-voltage subsea power distribution systems to support the overall design of subsea process systems. Good understanding of the application of different types of HV distribution equipment: HV wet matable and dry matable connectors. HV subsea transformers, HV power umbilicals, subsea and topside variable speed drives control systems. Overall responsibility for the design of the high-voltage and high power electrical distribution and long distance transportation systems from, topside power grid to the subsea process station to operate pumps and compressors Interfaces with all other project disciplines in the department and outside the department to accomplish above objective: separation technology, pumps/motors, controls, systems engineering, purchasing, operations and installation engineering groups. BS in Electrical or Mechanical or equivalent with 5+ years experience related to HV electrical power. Good Communication skills (written, verbal and presentation). Microsoft office (powerpoint, Excel, Word). Experience in Microstation or equivalent for conceptual equipment layouts is a plus.

Bs in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years experience in related field.
