We have an immediate opening for a Senior Internal IT Auditor. This position will be responsible for assisting in the execution of an internal IT audit. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Assisting in annual assessment under Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, including documentation and evaluation of IT general controls and IT application controls and reports.
•Designing and performing audits of vendor-supplied software and internally developed application systems, their interfaces, hardware, and computer operations.
•Interacting with associates and management at all levels of the organization; evaluating and documenting processes, control objectives, and findings; and negotiating action plans and writing audit reports in a clear and concise format.
The ideal candidate has the following professional experience and qualifications:
•Minimum of three years of IT auditing experience, preferably with a “Big 4” public accounting firm.
•Auditing experience with IT general controls, application systems controls, and application systems SDLC projects.
•Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule and conduct IT audits and supervise IT auditors.
•A broad-based knowledge of computer systems, analysis, and design as well as sound technical knowledge of application planning, design, review and implementation.
•A detailed understanding of computer logic, data security and operations.
•Knowledge of sophisticated hardware and software and high degree of technical expertise.
•A strong background in accounting and control procedures and methods.
•Experience with SOX 404 compliance.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to function independently.
•Ability to interact effectively with operational areas.
•Innovative problem-solving skills.
•The ability to multitask and work on a variety of audit projects simultaneously.
•Experience with ACL software.
•Familiarity with the Control Objectives for Information and related Technology (COBIT) guidelines and the ability to adapt those guidelines to culture, policies, and procedures.
The ideal candidate has the following educational requirements:
•Baccalaureate degree in accounting or information systems related field.
•CISA professional certification.
•CISSP professional certification preferred.
