Project Assignment - 1
ALA Retention - Integrated ALA retention strategy to drive ALA retention toward 20% by 2009 and 25% by 2010 (stretch target)
ALA Recruiting - Scale all aspects of ALA recruiting funnel to support 2.5 ALA's per office per month by 2009 (recruiting, interviewing, training, etc.)
Project Assignment - 2
Leads generation Strategy - Identify, evaluate, and prioritize alternate lead sources in preparation for tighter regulatory scenarios
Project Assignment - 3
Group Business Plan - Develop full business plan to grow group business: Market, value proposition, products, capabilities
IMO/SA Distribution Strategy - Create robust IMO/SA sales channel strategy to ramp to 27K agents by end-of-year 2009

Alternate Distribution Strategy (non-captive) - Create robust associate and enroller sales channel strategy to ramp to 800 associates by end-of-year 2009

Position Description:
Project Management functions related to the assigned project(s) . The project manager will be responsible for leading project teams to the successful completion of the projects and reports to the Integration Program Managers. The project manager develops the project plan with the team and manages the team's performance of project tasks.
The project manager will also secure acceptance and approval of deliverables from the project sponsor and stakeholders. The project manager is responsible for communication; including status reporting; risk management, and escalation of issues that can not be resolved by the team. The ultimate goal of the project manager is making sure the project manager is making sure the project is delivered in budget, on schedule, and within scope. It is the responsibility of the project manager to keep the Integration Office informed of issues and risks that would prevent the project from being delivered within these constraints.
Project Deliverables:
Project Management artifacts as defined by the Company and adherence to PMI/PMP methodology in the completion of the assigned projects. The project deliverables will use the standards and templates as defined by the Integration Office Project Management Tool Kit. These will vary based upon the scope of the project but may include:
Project schedules (MS Project required)
Status reports
Issue lists
Risk Assessment and Evaluation
Functional Requirement
Scope documents
Business Use Case(s)
Technical Specifications
Acceptance / Sign-Off Documents
Change Control Process and Definition
Communications Plan
Test plans and scripts
Test Results and Issues/Risk/Bug Tracking
Project charters
Project Meeting Agenda/Minutes
Project Expectations and Deadlines:
Project deliverables and Quality Reviews are determined by the Integration office (PMO) based on documented expectations in alignment with Program Manager requirements.
Project Management artifacts require a minimum weekly update.
Sign-off by work stream leaders (i.e. project scope, requirements)
Weekly review of project schedules or dynamically as required
Weekly review of status reports and issues lists or dynamically as required
Weekly feedback from work stream leaders
Weekly feedback from the Integration Office
Daily Time Tracking
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
PMP certification required
MS Project required
Project management skills to effectively manage a highly skilled, technical staff
BA or BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
Experience with health insurance, Medicare and/or healthcare systemspreferred
