10+ years consulting exp. including developing/implementing IT solutions for gov't/military clients. Implemented architectural patterns/ frameworks & working w/methodologies such as RUP. .Exp. w/several of the following: J2EE, XML, SOA, Web Services, Oracle, SQL, Business Intelligence, content & portal tools. Enterprise Data Architecture Skills w/knowledge of Data Federation. Familiar w/Windows & Linux/Unix.
IBM Supply Chain Architecture is seeking Senior IT Architects to support engagements within the Public Sector s Supply Chain Management Practice Area of IBM Global Business Services. Senior IT Architects work with the client to design solutions to address complex IT and business requirements. The resulting design may run on multiple platforms and may be composed of multiple software packages. Senior IT Architects are expected to perform critical evaluation and selection of the software and hardware components of the applications and data, and prepares for the development of the application by evaluation and selection of development methodologies and tools.
Required
- At least 1 year experience in J2EE, XML, SOA
- Readiness to travel Up to 25%; traveling 2 days a week, home on weekends
- U.S. citizenship required
- English: Fluent
