Seeking a talented individual for a full-time User Experience Designer. The User Experience Designer will work with Project Managers, Software Developers, Visual Designers, Business Analysts & the Director of User Experience to translate user research data and business goals into effective experiences that serve user needs within the project limitations. Depending on the candidate's capabilities, they often ask the User Experience Designer to take on project management tasks and requirements analysis. They feel that the best way to ensure a great user experience is to keep the designer involved in all aspects of the software development process. Candidates considered for this hybrid role will have prior experience eliciting requirements and managing Agile software development projects.
Responsibilities
* Work on browser & PC based application designs to produce innovative & easy-to-use solutions
* Brainstorm, review, develop and design solutions in a collaborative environment.
* Produce rapid prototypes, personas, taskflows, scenarios & wireframes for projects.
* Ensure consistency of design concepts and interactive behaviors within individual pages and across entire projects.
Experience
* 2+ years experience in both traditional Information Architecture as well as HCI
* Ability to interview users and stakeholders and elicit user requirements and business process workflows
* Some Visual Design training is preferred
