You will join an established, growing team of engineers and be responsible for serving as both a technical lead and mentor to other engineers. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude with a strong desire to learn, excellent programming aptitude, and effective problem solving and communication skills.

Position Responsibilities:

•Perform technical feasibility studies
•Participate in requirements generation and elaboration
•Author white papers and design documents
•Analyze hardware component documentation and industry technical specifications, and build software architectures to support their use
•Develop production and unit test code
•Review designs and code of other engineers
•Integrate and debug 3rd party software
•Work closely with the HW Engineering group on design and technical issues
•Evaluate potential suppliers and vendors
•Report project technical progress, issues and risks to management

Requirements

•BS in EE, CS or related discipline, MS preferred

•10 years of software development experience with at least 5 years in C/C++
•5 years as a lead engineer
•Experience with embedded SOC processors, especially XScale and ARM core based processors
•Writing/debugging driver software, especially Audio, Wi-Fi, USB, SDIO, Bluetooth, NAND Flash
•Embedded Operating Systems, especially custom Windows CE builds using Platform Builder
