- A high-tech manufacturing company in the Columbus, OH area is seeking an architect level software developer to create client-server, user interface, and signal processing/communications software for radar tracking and radar cross section measurement systems.
- The Senior Engineer will provide technical leadership for one or more development teams and will collaborate with hardware engineers.
- The person in this position is responsible for product architecture, analysis and design, and must be able to evaluate and improve software development practices with an eye for cost and schedule restraints.
- Must have experience with C++ and Object Oriented design and development in a scientific or engineering environment.
- Must be able to demonstrate prior technical leadership experience.
- Experience on the .NET platform is a plus.
- This company prefers candidates who can demonstrate a background with GUI, client/server, and signal processing or communications interface development.
- Experience with CppUnit and QT toolkits is a plus.
- Experience developing multi-threaded real-time systems is also beneficial.
- Background working with Radar Imaging or Tracking and RF technology will set you apart.
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, Masters is preferred.
- Candidates local to the Columbus area are preferred, however, relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
- Minimal travel may be required.
- Must be a US Citizen.
