You will be responsible for software development supporting speech recognition portions of our client's product offering.
The ideal candidate has a positive attitude with a strong desire to learn, excellent programming aptitude, and effective problem solving and communication skills.
Position Responsibilities:
· Implement effective software solutions in a timely and efficient manner.
· Design, prototype, implement, debug, test, document, and support software projects
· Implement and optimize speech algorithms, test, analyze, and communicate results, status, and decisions
· Follow established processes to meet stringent software quality requirements.
Requirements
· BS or MS EE, CS, or equivalent
· 0 to 7 years professional programming experience
· 5 years programming experience (including academic)
· 3 years experience (including academic) with C and/or C++
Experience with the following areas considered a plus:
· Speech recognition, pattern matching or signal processing
· Perl, Matlab, Windows CE, Windows for the PC
· Real-time, embedded systems
· Object oriented software design
