Client in northwest suburb is seeking a consultant to be part of an existing support team providing infrastructure security monitoring, vulnerability & incident management and security systems management functions.
The person in this role will primarily be responsible for Tier 3 Whole Disk Encryption support for mobile computing platforms. This includes the build, deployment and support of McAfee/SafeBoot disk encryption.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience working with standard security tools and applications including Whole Disk Encryption, Anti-Virus, Host Based Intrusion Detection, and Active Directory.
Job Qualifications:
** Minimum 10+ years of Professional IT experience with 2 years of Security/Encryption Support experience in a Microsoft environment
** Minimum 1 to 3 years of project management experience, including implementations over multiple locations
** Recent experience working with encryption support for both mobile devices and desktops.
** Strong understanding of Windows XP, including the boot process
** Experience working with trouble ticketing systems
** Must have strong communication and organization skills
** Effective written and verbal communication skills that blend technical concepts with business language depending on audience and situation
** Ability to research, gather and analyze information then formulate effective recommendations/actions
** Ability to work independently and with a team to produce accurate results in a fast-paced environment
** Ability to prioritize and multi-task
