The System Administration for Web Services Team is looking for someone with a strong Unix/Linux background to join our team. Software installation/configuration of (at a minimum): WebSphere Application Server, Business Objects, ITCAM (WebSphere Monitoring), WebSphere MQ, IBM Directory LDAP, Tivoli Identity Manager, Tivoli Access Manager, WebSEAL, HTTP Web Server and Adobe Forms, Administration of WebSphere Application Server, Deployment automation, Virtualization on Linux blade and Sun Solaris 10 architectures. Transitioning to the latest WebSphere and security product software versions and Scripting - Unix shell or Perl; PHP. Also assist in trouble shooting application and OS problems. Work with network engineers to set up load balancing. In addition to other Unix/Linux duties as deemed necessary to install/manage Web Services Documentation. Possible future projects include replacing internal applications with the existing identity management product and strengthening web security throughout the enterprise.
Minimum Requirements:
-Extensive knowledge of Linux 4.5/5.0 or Solaris 9/10 OS required.
-Some experience in or knowledge of LDAP and common web technologies -- i.e., WebSphere Application Server, Apache, Tivoli Access Manager, Tivoli Identity Manager, PHP, or similar helpful but not required.
-Java application development also helpful but not required.
-System architecture and design experience a plus.
-Customer centric focus, excellent communication skills, and team oriented work habits required.
-Must be a U.S. Citizen.
-Must be able to pass an extensive background check.
Education and/or Certification:
BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Data Processing, related technical field or a minimum of 5 year's technical experience with a broad range of vendor products.
