Resource Associates is assisting our direct client in the search for an Application Development/IT Manager for a full-time position in Las Vegas, NV. This position will be responsible for overseeing and managing GIS, Client Server, DBA and Internet applications. An ideal candidate will have held a broad range of positions throughout their career providing them exposure to multiple systems, software and applications.
To be considered for this position the following background and experience is required:
**Prior experience managing both staff, vendor / user relationships
and outsourcing contracts
**Project Management experience including managing budgets and project
plans, prioritizing, assigning and monitoring tasks and deliverables
**Experience managing development and support of web-based applications
**Knowledge of multiple technologies and methodologies including Web
2.0, an SOA development environment, JAD, RAD, Time boxing and SDLC techniques / methods
**Previous experience managing the support of or implementation of a
major ERP solution such as Oracle eBusiness Suite
**An understanding of solid business analysis / integration techniques
used to improve quality and efficiency
**Experience with project portfolio management techniques / methods
**A team oriented personality, ability to communicate effectively with
people at all levels, high level of creativity and flexibility
**Strong interest in keeping abreast of new technology and how it can
be applied to improve current processes and be used successfully throughout the enterprise
**B.S. Degree is highly preferred
