Job Description
Software Engineer. The candidate would be part of a Teamcenter development team -- primarily focusing on designing/developing multi-tier server code in C++ with a focus on Web Services.
Engineer will contribute to all stages of the software development life cycle including requirements, design, coding, testing and support.
Prerequisites and Essential Functions
* B.E/B.tech in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent
* 2+ years of professional software development experience
* Professional proficiency with C++ using Visual Studio
* Experience in working with multi-layer client-server applications and large scale Enterprise Software architectures
* Experience with commercial web application servers
* Professional Java development experience is also good to have.
* Experience with development on Windows and UNIX OS
* Experience with professional source control systems
* Working knowledge of engineering/computer science methods and practices, and formal development cycles
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, team player, problem solver, ability to set goals, meet deadlines, and multitask
