Business Resource Solutions, LLC is a shared services organization representing Glacier Technologies, LLC for all Human Resource and recruiting activities. Glacier Technologies, LLC is currently seeking candidates for the following opening: Programming Support Specialist.
Programming support is needed to assist application development communities within FS to ensure that the coding and design aspects are in compliance with technology and security standards, policies and procedures. Programmer support will assist in identifying, designing, developing and maintaining a set of common reusable application components as part of the migration factory being setup by the BAO in order to assist with the migration of 800+ applications from the legacy cells into a common hosting environment. Programmer support will be expected to design, develop, and maintain applications that maybe be sponsored by the BAO in the future. Other activities includes participation in joint application and design sessions, preparing and reviewing design/technical specification documents, and conducting code reviews for applications as needed. Prepare and review applications that utilize server technologies such as XML, J2EE and/or .NET and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Prepare and review applications that utilize Web Programming languages such as Oracle PL/SQL, Java, PHP, Perl. Support database implementation using Oracle 10g and future versions
Implement SOA technologies such as webMethods and webSphere products including the enterprise service bus and business process servers.
Perform programming support on various platforms such as Linux, IBM-AIX, windows and solaris platforms. Prepare and review internet security strategies and protocols such as TLS, SSL, encryption, HTTP, reverse proxies, etc. Prepare technical specifications against functional/business requirements. Perform database modeling with Unified Modeling Language (UML) Prepare and perform application test plans
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or any related field.
7-10 years experience.
