Our development team builds, integrates and maintains all the systems to support a 1600-person company including the website, warehouse management, order management, and customer service systems. This QA position is closely involved in the development, maintenance and enhancement of current and planned SAP software applications. Functions include testing, validation and coordinating the test effort of others on the team. Works closely with the developers to analyze requirements and establish satisfactory test plans. Creates and develops test scripts based on project protocols and procedures; executes and documents test scripts according to test requirements and quality standards; utilizes various tools and software applications to perform tasks; assumes additional responsibilities, promotes a positive attitude and proactively identifies process improvements. Strong problem solving skills, communication skills and analytical skills are required for this role.

As an SAP QA Engineer you will be responsible for introducing best-in-class QA practices, writing test scenarios and executing tests, both manually and with automated tools. You will work with a collaborative group of QA engineers and the QA Manager in this position.

Desired Experience and Skills:

* A desire to make work fun and enjoyable (this is first on the list for a reason)
* Formal system software testing experience required in key SAP modules proficiency in version 4.6C
* Familiarity with ECC 5.0-6.0 desired
* Overall 4 -5 years QA experience which includes a minimum of 2 years testing experience and involvement in at least 1 -2 successful SAP implementation projects
* Testing experience in SAP FICO modules would be considered a plus
* A love for finding bugs and making software bullet-proof
* Working knowledge and demonstrable experience with automated
* testing tools such as Mercury QuickTest Professional or similar
* A BS in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
* Experience creating and maintaining automated test frameworks/harnesses for SAP integration testing
* Working knowledge of software testing methodologies
* Working knowledge of SQL and databases
* Experience with large-scale ERP or ecommerce systems
* Experience with high-volume transactional systems
* Experience with the Linux operating system
* An understanding of the software development life-cycle
