This organization is growing and the company is expanding into new markets. They are building state of the art patient data base monitoring applications. The DB collects patient data in a hospital or clinical environment and is available for update from patient monitoring devices. You will be the senior DBA in a dynamic software development group.
Diversified Duties include:
* Maintain production and development database environment, upgrades, installs, versioning
* Design and production tuning
* Development of Stored Procedures
* Potential for client interface during problem resolution
* Perform root cause analysis and develop long * term solutions
* Document changes and update defect tracking system.
Administer, install and upgrade Microsoft SQL Server for development and production environments. Troubleshoot and resolve database performance and availability issues.
Assist in the management of Informix and Oracle database administration.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Expertise in routine monitoring and administration tools
* Strong knowledge of transact-SQL (T-SQL), stored procedures and DTS/SSIS development and deployment.
* Experience defining and supporting backup and recovery strategies
* Logical and physical data modeling and design
* Knowledge of Windows server administration and installation.
* Knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting
* MCDBA preferred
* Sequel Server 2005
Location: Andover, MA
Duration: Full Time Position
Rate: Salary $100k and up for the right individual
