Software Architect - ePsolutions
ePsolutions is looking to hire an experienced Software Architect to
join the team. We are looking for a highly motivated, goal-oriented
individual who will be responsible for building software solutions to
meet client needs.
Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in object-oriented
programming, RDMBS knowledge, and experience in the utility industry.
Candidates should be excellent team players, capable of leading
development teams, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
Responsibilities:
* Researches, designs, and writes software to specifications, either
individually or leading a team of other developers
* Works closely with Solution Architect and Director of Development to
plan ongoing feature development, product maintenance, and management
of development teams
* Works with clients and Business Analysts to determine software
requirements and system impacts
* Enhances existing software by analyzing and identifying areas for
optimization or refactoring
* Generates technical documentation as well as unit and functional tests
* Assists with application maintenance by monitoring and correcting
software defects
* Investigates new technologies and techniques and researches ongoing
industry developments
* Mentors junior developers in industry best practices, procedures,
and concepts
Requirements:
* Experience as Software Architect
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
* Master's degree preferred
* 4+ years C# experience, or 8+ years object-oriented programming experience
* 8+ years experience in the complete software development lifecycle
* 8+ years experience with SQL Server or any other RDBMS
* 3+ years experience in .NET or ASP.NET, or 10+ years of enterprise
development experience
* 8+ years experience in source control, unit testing, code
verification, documentation, automated build, continuous integration,
metrics, and code reviews
* 4+ years experience in user interface development
* Excellent interpersonal communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
