Project Manager/Project Leader
Basic Job Function
To plan, facilitate and manage user involvement in system development and solution.
To ensure that IT solutions are effectively evaluated and implemented to meet the business requirements, software change controls and service quality standards.
Responsibilities
? Develop Business Specifications, Test Plan and User Documentation
? Ensure that user requirements are effectively and accurately communicate to the development team.
? Ensure solutions and systems provided meet business objectives
Duties
? Plan and conduct feasibility studies and functional analysis of business requirements.
? Evaluate alternative IT solutions and make appropriate recommendations.
? Ensure that all key issues are identified in a structured manner for decision making
? Facilitate communications between users and developers
? Write Business Specifications
? Lead, plan, organize and co-ordinate all implementation activities and user acceptance testing
? Liaise with development team to ensure timely and quality delivery of IT solutions.
? Conduct user training, develop and maintenance of user documentations.
? Continually assess the effectiveness of company's business specifications and testing methodology in terms of contents and format
? Plan, schedule and prepare estimated when acting as a project lead.
Knowledge and Skills
? In-depth General Insurance Knowledge
? Knowledge of PRISM functionalities, file structures and process flows
? Usage of AS/400 tools and utilities such as Query/400, SQL, DFU to assist in problem investigations and results verifications.
? Knowledge of Visual Basic, MS Access and Crystal Reports
? Analytical and problem solving abilities
? Familiar with MS products -- Word Excel, Powerpoint, Project
? Effective documentation and communication
Experience
? Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience
? Insurance operations exposure
