Aquent currently has an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced and forward-thinking member of the web development community using Microsoft.NET technologies. Our client is seeking someone with excellent problem solving skills .NET (ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, ADO.NET) development skills and a strong desire to use these skills to help our client's customers meet their unique goals.

On the database side, our client is seeking experienced database concept and development knowledge - from DB design, Referential Integrity, Indexes and all the way to procedures and query optimization experience.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the development and delivery of custom web applications from concept to completion.

Responsibilities Include:

Leading all development efforts on assigned projects

Consulting with clients and other team members on development best practices

Assisting in the coordination of development resources

Managing growth of development platform

Qualifications:
2-4 years of web development technical implementation

SQL, .NET relational database skills

Experience with AspDotNetStorefront or other .NET storefronts highly desired

Well rounded knowledge in differing internet standards/languages

Technological leadership and interest in driving technical innovation and vision

Ability to structure development in efficient manner

Understanding of SQL performance

Understanding of IT infrastructure issues

Strong track record of implementing new technologies
