Job Description & Responsibilities: In this position, the Interactive/UI designer will develop interactive content for multiple media. Designer's design style should be clean and edgy. Interactive Designer/UI must also have the ability to switch gears from creative to production in a fast paced environment and must be capable of adapting and learning new technologies on the fly.
This position may perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
Must have excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously are required.
Must have a portfolio of interactive design and UI work (web, cd, dvd, etc.)
Requires knowledge of basic Unix skills.
Must be an expert with flash and breaking technologies relating to Flash.
Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Must be proficient with a scripting language (PHP preferable.)
Must have expert knowledge of Javascript HTML (hand coding), and CSS.
Working knowledge of web, CD, and DVD authoring tools.
Solid experience working with XML, XSLT, and/or XUL required.
Education and Work Experience:
BS/BA in Computer Science Graphic Design or equivalent.
2-5 years experience.
