Using advanced analytics, PopularMedia's patent-pending technology platform allows customers to create, measure, and optimize social media and word of mouth marketing campaigns. As part of a collaborative team working on 2 week Agile cycle, you'll be responsible for development of new modules in our rapidly expanding product suite - a product used by switched on brands to touch lots of end users.
We use Ruby on Rails. You've got at least a couple years of software development behind you. And hey, we're certainly not going to turn you away if that's more like a decade or two peeking out from back there. We're not hung up on what language or framework you're currently developing in. Most important is that you've done some serious web development in some language or other, have a solid interest in Ruby on Rails and can learn really fast. Experience with Linux and a relational database (ideally MySQL) is a must. And of course you've got the motivation/energy level to thrive in a startup environment.
