Position: 1 Microsoft Developer - SSAS
Candidate must have 7+yrs development experience;
Required skills:
Strong Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services (SSAS)
This includes mastery of SSAS specifically and, more broadly, a deep understanding of how to properly design, build, analyze,
and optimize performance of OLAP/ROLAP hyper-cubes as per Microsoft-validated best practices to expose key
performance indicators (KPI's) from a large data set. Hence,
* Experience designing and hands on building of large multi giagabit cubes
* Peformance tuning MDX and dimensions design and scaling to large numbers of users.
* In dept understading of SSAS architecure to push design to hyper cubes
* Advanced MDX, cacualted members, storage and aggregation feature design
* Advanced ETL design to include failsafe loading, metadata capture and reentrant features.
* Windows Script Host experience manipulating files using VB Script
Managers prefers a person with a VERY Strong background and in depth knowled in Software development -
must be able to speak to all information on resume
