The position is responsible for functional and technical support of XXX's Oracle HR applications. This includes working with vendors to understand new functionality and patch releases, as well as design, development, implement and support of all functional and technical requirements within the applications.
Responsibilities entail working with end-users, other ERP staff, other cross-functional staff, and XXX management within the Finance, People and Operations organizations to identify and implement application enhancements, new tools and manage process re-engineering efforts. The Systems Analyst has full accountability for working with his/her Manager to implement multiple projects from initial requirements & business case development through post-production support.
Process enhancement requirements
Document business and functional requirements
Document and/or review technical requirements
Work with third party vendors on release management and support issues
Develop and execute solid project plans, including contingency planning, backup and recovery documentation
Manage the SDLC for all projects
Manage Remedy ticket queue and assist with solving end-user issues as needed
Perform special assignments in support of departmental objectives
5 years post-college work experience, preferably as a Business or Systems Analyst in an IT environment
Experience with Oracle HR and Self Service applications is a must
Experience as a functional systems user or team member on at least one major application implementation effort
Experience in the teleservices industry is a big plus
Proven leadership skills working with business unit managers
Solid project management skills, including ability to multi-task and manage teams
Ability to develop and manage business cases and budgets
Strong oral and written communication skills
A sound understanding of technology enabled back-office support systems
The ability to manage multiple issues/projects concurrently
An orientation to process reengineering
A sound working knowledge of the software development lifecycle
