Job Description/Duties/Responsibilities:
Design and develop creative software solutions for Ground Control Station systems. Design and development include graphical displays, data acquisition, user interface development, communications, human factors, and networking applications. Specific responsibilities include: Design and develop Linux based software using object oriented techniques with C++ in a team environment. Design and utilize XML schemas for automation, Python scripting for code generation.
Job Required Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
Required: Ability to acquire US Secret Clearance (US Citizen).
Strong background in object oriented design and development. Strong C++ skills required including use and understanding of templates, smart pointers, and threading. Must have the ability to interface with customers and work effectively in a team environment.
Desired: Experience in any of the following specialized areas: 3-D graphic development, OpenGL, TCP/IP, mapping and Geographic Information Systems. C++ library experience including Qt, STL, and Boost. Understanding of interpreted object oriented languages such as Java or C#.
Experience Required:
2-20+ years of C++ experience
Education Required:
B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related engineering discipline.
