This becomes part of our client's New Enterprise Data Center model, which helps clients improve IT efficiency and facilitates the rapid deployment of new IT services for future business growth.
Pre and Post Sales position (4 positions):
The Technical Sales specialist will provide product technical expertise, in the Pre Sales & Post Sales qualification cycle and is responsible for the delivery of the technical architectural design, strategies, and plans that will be delivered in the engagement.
This Specialist assures a solution's technical feasibility, qualifies opportunities, understands customer business and technical environments, ensures successful installation and drives implementation planning.
This position requires current implementation skills at the system administrative level using either Red Hat Linux or Solaris Unix.
Successful candidate will have experience selling Back Up and Restore storage solutions applications (CommVault, VERITAS, Tivoli, Legato, NBU, etc).
Required:
Experience in BackUp and Restore
Experience in Pre Sales and Post Sales
Knowledge in Linux or Unix at system admin level
Readyness to travel Up to 25%; travelling 2 days a week, home on weekends
Preferred :
At least 2 years experience in using Veritas, Legato, Tivoli, CA or CommVault

Job description:
The Sales Specialist is responsible for selling client's offering for Back Up and Restore (data deduplication) directly to customers and channel partners.
Candidates should have experience selling Storage Solutions to Enterprise level Fortune 1000 customers along with a solid understanding of the technical concepts for storage management.
This position requires a complete understanding of the sales processes, techniques and tools in the discipline, which include, but are not limited to opportunity / territory management, availability management, network management, application development, cost justification, recovery services, and acquisition management.
Successful candidate will have experience selling Back Up and Restore storage solutions applications (CommVault, VERITAS, Tivoli, Legato, NBU, etc).
Required :
Experience in Storage Sales (pre Sales atleast 3+ years)
Experience in backup and restore
Readyness to travel Up to 25%; travelling 2 days a week, home on weekends
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
Location: NYC-NY, Boston, MA (Prefer NY, Providence-RI, Harfotd-CT
Work Authorization: Candidates eligible to take a permanent position without visa sponsorship will be considered.
