Test Support Engineer

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday -- Friday

Responsibilities:

• Performs testing per test procedures and as directed by Test Engineers
• Assists in test equipment assembly and verification
• Assists test engineers in development of test equipment and test plans
• Adheres to lab procedures and policies
• Maintains accurate records
• Adapts effectively to multiple tasks, areas of assignment and priority changes
• Set-up, run, and document testing per documented procedures and ad hoc requirements
• Testing to include Electrical/Magnetic Compatibility and Environmental Testing per DO-160E, and endurance, fatigue, and performance testing per internal and customer specifications

Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on knowledge of test lab processes and procedures
• Demonstrated experience supporting a wide variety of testing including electrical, electromechanical, and electronic equipment
• Demonstrated proficiency in performance and environmental testing
• Demonstrated knowledge of DO160E
• 5 years or more experience as a test lab technician is preferred
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Must be proficient and accurate in the use of computers, Microsoft tools including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent math skills
