We are looking for software engineers with strong embedded systems and firmware development skills for a client in the Austin area.
Title: Software Engineers (several levels)
Location: Austin, Texas
Compensation: Base salary open, but we are targeting a base salary of $80-120,000 depending on skill and experience level. Stock incentives. Solid benefits package. Relocation assistance is available.
Client will consider H1 transfers and TN visas.
General: Key team member in the full lifecycle design and development of
embedded software. Write device drivers and will build test harnesses for testing APIs and drivers both standalone and on hardware. Port software across multiple platforms. Debugging on hardware platforms.
Required Skills:
Technical bachelors degree with 5+ years developing embedded software using C, C++, and Assembly. Design and development of low-level device drivers and APIs. Porting device drivers and APIs across multiple CPU and embedded operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and RTOS. Desire and ability to effectively interface with customers.
Desired: Graduate degree. Embedded datacom and wireless devices. Linux application development experience. USB and other high-speed bus interfaces.
