Job Description
Siemens Government Services (SGS) is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization. We are seeking a self-driven individual to complement our growing team.

Responsibilities include:
• Translate business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture.
• Ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address business problems.
• Provide direction for design, deployment and rollout activities.
• Often project-based both internally, supporting mentoring, handbooks, best practices, etc. and at customer sites.
• Apply PLM Domain expertise to conceptualize, design, construct, test and implement PLM implementation services for clients deploying a PLM enterprise solution.
• Interact with the customer to gain an understanding of the customer operating environment, state of technology, current engineering processes, product development processes and strategic tactical direction.
• Define scope, plans and deliverables for assigned projects.
• Collect, identify, define and organize detailed user requirements.
• Coordinate and collaborate with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and identify solutions that meet customer needs and expectations.
• Confirm and prioritize project plans and deliverables with the customer.
• Apply metrics to monitor performance and measure key project criteria.
• Stay current on emerging tools, techniques, methodologies and technologies.


Requirements include:
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or an appropriate Engineering discipline
• Ability to gather customer requirements and formulate into business solution using Siemens PLM products and other Enterprise applications such as ERP
• Experience with architecting and deploying PLM, ERP, similar enterprise systems
• Estimates solution costs - calculates and schedules projects costs, documents assumptions and constraints.
• Four to eight years Architecture Experience with PLM
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
• Customer Facing Skills
• Able to direct multiple levels of customers, peers and team members technically
• Ability to maintain client relationships, manage client's expectations and gather competitive information
• Familiarity with Unix and Windows NT/XP/2000 computer systems
• A working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of office tools specifically Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project •• Leadership, communication, and business skills are all required to support this position
• Self directed and able to work alone with minimal direction
• Relevant experience working for or with the Federal Government Agencies
• Experience in the area of current technologies (i.e., Service-Oriented Architectures) a plus.
• Experience in proposal development a plus
• Experience with information technology trends is highly desirable
• Experience with value propositions and industry best practices is highly desirable.
• Must be US citizen and will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
