Support Analyst
Looking for an energetic, hard working professional with experience monitoring and troubleshooting software applications. This position would be responsible for managing inquiries/issues directed to the Support Desk.

This dynamic, growing, and profitable e-commerce company, runs a 24x7 exchange that processes over 3 million XML based transactions per month. It has a very talented team of e-commerce development professionals in Houston, TX. We are currently expanding our offices and staff to meet the needs of unprecedented growth and success in our market.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Provide telephone and email support to RealEC customers
• Escalate issues in a timely manner to the appropriate team within RealEC
• Provide assistance to other RealEC teams
• Update knowledge-base system with issues/resolutions
• Assist in account setup and maintenance
• Identify enhancement opportunities and forward to appropriate resource
• Execute SQL Stored procedures to provide reports and update tables in the database.
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve production and test problems for clients with speed and accuracy to maximize network resource availability thereby improving customer productivity and satisfaction.
• Research and analyze business processes and workflows to understand and resolve operational issues.
• Monitor error logs, system activity, and process loads
• Provide leadership and ownership of issues
• Create reports for internal and external customers

Requirements for consideration:

• Solid organizational/management skills, exceptional communication and client skills, written and oral, strong customer service focus, team oriented
• Good PC skills, including basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Industry knowledge a plus, but not required.
• Excellent business and telephone etiquette skills
• Development experience with XSLT, ASP, Visual Basic.NET is a plus
• Working knowledge in the following languages/programs: XML, Transact-SQL, MS Access and Visual Basic 6 is a plus
• Minimum 2 years experience
• Experience working with various communication and file transfer methods is a plus
