Are you that rare blend of graphic designer and tech geek? Maybe you have a secret past life as a developer? Maybe you are just exceptionally well-read on software and technology but absolutely love graphic design?
Our client is looking for a graphic designer who can in essence think like a developer. Because of the needs of this project, someone who grasps the functions of Visual studio and understands how developers use it is critical. Someone with solid visual skills who can push the envelope when appropriate but who doesn't mind keeping an application redesign somewhat “contained” - someone who does not need to make “grand sweeping gestures” in coming up with new solutions to an existing application but who can make something look great within limitations. S/he won't mind when work gets a bit “myopic” and demands heads down “pixel pushing” that is required in creating the crispest, cleanest, tidiest graphics possible. The redesign of this major software product will overhaul its existing shell, including the UI elements like command bars, tool windows, and menu systems.
Location: on-site in Redmond, WA.
